Dougal Cameron
Dougal, our quixotic elder, is married to Cathy and lives in Chappell Hill. They have 4 children, 3 of whom are in college. He teaches the High School Sunday School class and helps lead the Thursday morning Men's Bible Study group. Dougal is President of Cameron Management Inc, which owns, manages and leases office buildings in the Houston, San Antonio and Austin areas. He absolutely loves to free good trees from vines that are trying to choke the life out of them. He likes to swim and hunt. His most impressive work of salesmanship was getting Cathy to marry him. His most treasured possession is that his children all love Jesus and are walking faithfully with the Lord.
Pat Cole
Pat is a Brenham native and lives here with his wife, Judi and two youngest children, Travis and Dylan. They have been members of Brenham Bible Church for 18 years, and Pat has served as an Elder for the last 11 of those years. Pat is the substitute teacher for one of the adult Sunday School classes. He is the Learning Center Director at Blinn College.
Steve Gonsoulin
Steve and his wife, Gail, live in Brenham. They have a son in college and a son and daughter out on their own. Steve is the treasurer for BBC and has been known to provide lively entertainment in BBC's talent shows. He is a CPA with Seidel, Schroeder, & Company.
J. B. Hixson, Ph.D.
Dr. J. B. Hixson is the Senior Pastor of Brenham Bible Church in Brenham. He also serves as the Academic Dean for Grace School of Theology in The Woodlands, TX where he teaches Theology and Bible Exposition courses. He has served as a past Executive Director of the Free Grace Alliance, an evangelistic training and Bible conference ministry. He earned his B.A. degree from Houston Baptist University, Th.M. degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and Ph.D. degree from Baptist Bible Seminary. Dr. Hixson has been involved in vocational church ministry since 1987, including five pastorates in Texas and Illinois, and he served as guest-faculty at the Bryansk Bible Institute in Bryansk, Russia. He serves on the Council of Dispensational Hermeneutics and is the author of the book, Getting the Gospel Wrong: The Evangelical Crisis No One Is Talking About. J. Carl Oelze
Carl Oelze lives with his wife of 43 years, Lexa, in Chappell Hill. His title of notoriety is “Papa Farmer” to his 17 grandchildren. He’s a Chemical Engineer by education and presently a consultant to the natural gas storage industry. Carl has been active in the Bible Church arena for some 37 years in both Spring and Brenham, Texas. He has served as an active elder in both these churches for approximately 26 years. His passion is the “truth”. Carl says, “If the God of the universe has given us the Bilble, and He has, I think we need to revere its timeless truths in knowing and experiencing Him in our lives”.
Cliff Wilson
Cliff Wilson is the husband of one wife and the father of three children. They live in Brenham. He is a Christian who strives to live by the motto: The best defense is a good offense! He is privileged to teach Junior High Sunday School weekly, as well as teach part time with the Senior High Youth Group and at Brenham Christian Academy in the Junior and Senior "Worldviews" class. Cliff believes that "the game is on the line in the fourth quarter" and we, as believers, are truly blessed to be living in such exciting days! He is a Captain at Southwest Airlines and is a recently retired Major from the United States Air Force Reserve.
