Our Ministries

Sunday School

Adult Classes:  BBC has 2 adult classes.  One class, Saints in Training, is studying Proverbs.  The other, the Homebuilders' Class, is studying Guiding Your Teen to a Faith That Lasts: A Blueprint for Building a Relationship with God.

Youth and Children:  BBC has classes for Senior High, Junior High and Children.  The Children's class is currently K-5, but the class will be divided as numbers increase.

Group Meetings

BBC has several opportunities for small group meetings each week.  All the meetings are open to anyone who wants to come, regardless of where you attend church on Sunday mornings or if you attend church.  The meetings are a great way to get to know people better.

Youth Groups

BBC has meetings for Junior and Senior High youth on Sunday nights from 5:30-7:30.  The groups have separate activities and Bible lessons and then join for dinner.  Speical activities include service projects, paintball wars, attending the Revolve Tour, movie nights, Guitar Hero competitions and campouts.  The Junior High group is JFLY - they are working through the "Jobs for Life -Youth " program.  The Senior High group is BASIC - Becoming a Soldier in Christ.

Children's Program

Every Sunday morning we have Sunday School at 9:20 and a Children's Time during the Worship Service.  We have a nursery available for infants through pre-schoolers.  Our Sunday evening children's program is on temporary hiatus.  Plans are already being made for the start-up in Fall 2009.

Prayer Time

Monday nights at 6:30 are a time for corporate intercessory prayer for BBC, programs we support, our members and people they are concerned about, and our community.  They meet in the back room of the main building for about an hour.

Women's Groups

BBC has 2 ladies Bible study groups meeting during the school year for times of study, prayer and fellowship.  One meets Wednesday mornings at 8:30.  They are currently studying Titus.  The other meets at 6:15 PM.  They are studying 1 Corinthians.  Both groups meet in the house adjacent to BBC and welcome any lady from the community who would like to join them.

Men's Groups

The men's group meets in the house adjacent to BBC on Thursday mornings from 6:30-7:30 for exhortation, encouragement and eating.  They always have coffee and usually food.  During this time they pray, have fellowship, study and memorize the Bible.  They also hold each other accountable to 1) love the Lord with "all our heart, soul and mind," 2) sacrificially love and lead their wives as Christ loves the Church and 3) proactively and intentionally father their children in a way that honors Jesus.  They want every man at BBC to be involved in this kindof accountable relationship with other men and every wife to be praying their husbands would be.
