Shawna and her husband, Ron, have been members of Brenham Bible Church since 2018. They have two grown daughters, one son-in-law and a precious granddaughter.
Shawna has been serving in Children’s Ministry since 1992 and has a passion for seeing families grow together in our Lord Jesus Christ. She was a dental hygienist for 30 years before being called to a ministry position on staff at a neighboring church. She thought she was retiring from children’s ministry in 2018.
However, God had other plans. He called her back to serve on the Brenham Bible Church staff as the Children’s Ministry Director…well, God persuaded her and Pastor Jon with his famous Bar-B-cue ribs.
Her heart is devoted to walking alongside families as they minister to their children and loving on her BBC church family.
Shawna and Ron love spending time with their kids and granddaughter and going on cruises. They try to run away to spend time with family and the ocean as often as possible.
